MAX Cabernet Sauvignon

Aconcagua Valley

The grapes for the Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon come from vines planted more than 20 years ago at the winery's home base in the Aconcagua Valley. The fruit source is mostly from one plot, the Max V vineyard, which is notable for its predominantly gravelly soils. The zone features a Mediterranean climate with moderately warm summer days and cool evening breezes, resulting in a daily temperature variation that is highly beneficial for phenolic development in red grape varieties. The vines are vertically trained so as to ensure good sun exposure during the growing season.

The Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is bright red ruby in color and has an expressive nose showcasing fresh red fruit and a hint of mint, complemented by dried fruit and sweet spice. Velvety on the palate, this wine starts out friendly but firm, with fine tannins and flavors that reiterate the wine's aromatic profile of dominant fresh red and black fruit accompanied by hazelnuts and sweet spices.
