Decero Mini Ediciones Petit Verdot


Each year Decero select a few exceptional parcels of Petit Verdot to make a ‘mini ediciónes’.  These lots have lower natural yields, and are also thinned to 1 or 2 clusters per shoot. Maceration is slightly longer for these lots, and fermentation times and temperatures depend on the characteristics of the particular lots. The wine is then gently basket pressed before going into French oak barrels (around half new) for 16 months. The wine’s lifted jasmine aromas, spicy complexity and concentration testify to the potential of Petit Verdot in the Remolinos Vineyard.
