Beaune "Les Reversées"

Premier Cru

Lucien Le Moine produced a Beaunes "Les Reversées" one year and found that the vineyards had a good balance between limestone and clay.   Beaune is typically more strong than easy, more of a Pommard than a Volnay.  This wine imitates a wine from a red Beaune village, with a big body, but is interesting because it also has finesse, a result of the limestone component in the soil.  It is therefore not a typical Beaune white wine.
