Saveur Magazine’s December 2014 Holiday Issue featured Disznoko’s 5 Puttonyos 2007 in the article “How Sweet it is” by Elin McCoy. ┬áThe article compliments sweet wines as great “bookends” to a holiday meal. “Sauternes is ideal for sipping with foie gras at the start of dinner; tokaji and santo shine later with nuts, cheeses, plum pudding, or an Italian panettone.” McCoy’s tasting notes for the 2007 5 Puttonyos are as follows, “Bright fruit aromas and rich pear and almond flavors mark this wine from a superb vintage.”
