Decanter Magazine recently ran a piece on the “The Top 15 wines from Burgundy micro-negociants”, with both whites and reds topped by Lucien Le Moine.  Mounir Saouma’s Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeots is reviewed as follows: “Initial impression of licorice followed by a complex palate of peaches and cream offset by nuts and more liquorice, this has a fine granular texture with a nutty aftertaste. 94 Points.”  And the Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers:  “Earthy and nutty, this is infinitely smooth with extraordinary refinement for a young Gevrey. Seamless layers of red fruits accompany a fine structure covered with a glossy textured sheen and lovely focus. Every drop a top premier cru. 92 Points”
