The new vintage of 2013 Basa from Telmo Rodriguez is listed as one of 5 “House Wines” (perfect and inexpensive wines for weeknight drinking) in the July issue of Food & Wine Magazine. The review is as follows:

2013 Telmo Rodriguez Basa ($15)

“White wines from Spain’s Rueda region tend to be unoaked, so they’re lively and great with lighter foods. Lemony, medium bodied Basa is made from the Verdejo grape.”
