An absolute steal – or violation of commandment number eight.”

The 2015 Tommasi Le Rosse Pinot Grigio was featured in “What We’re Drinking: 2015 Tommasi Le Rosse Pinot Grigio” on The Palate Press Online. Wine writer Becky Epstein recommends pairing the Tommasi Le Rosse Pinot Grigio with end-of-summer meals, like corn, tomatoes and fish. Epstein goes on to state that “this wine gets bigger when you drink it with lunch or supper. And if you have any left, it’s even better the second night — as long as you’ve kept it chilled.”

Honest Cooking featured the 2013 Tommasi Ripasso Valpolicella in “10 Wines for a Fall Weekend.” Wine editor Annelise McAuliffe provides a roundup of wines that “pair well with cool nights, heartier foods and warm spices,” in which she highlights the Ripasso as having “just enough body for a fall meal,” and recommends pairing it with braised meats, game dishes or aged blue cheese.

The Colorado Gazette featured the 2015 Tommasi Le Rosse Pinot Grigio in “White wine alternatives for summer sipping.” Wine writer Rich Mauro is partial to white wines for summer, and provided a list of “heat resistors” from Germany, France and Italy. Mauro touches upon Italy’s best white wine import, pinot grigio, recommended by him for its light body and melon and citrus notes. Wine writer John Vankat notes “I find many Proseccos a bit clumsy, but the Tommasi Filodora is nicely refined and therefore a wise purchase.” John describes the wine for its “attractive, forward nose, good strength on the palate and is long-finishing.” Click here to see the article.
