The 2013 Poggio a Tufo Rompicollo was featured in “Wine of the Week: The annual pizza-wine review” in WTOP online. Wine writer Scott Greenberg picked a handful of wines meeting his “pizza wine” criteria: the wine must be full of flavor and cost less than the price of a pizza pie. Greenberg notes that the Rompicollo is “remarkably approachable for a Super Tuscan and is ready to drink now with your favorite pizza Margarita.”
