Vermentino 2018

Toscana IGT

This single-vineyard Vermentino exhibits all of the characteristics for which Tuscan Vermentino is renowned, in particular its mineral notes, a result of the volcanic soil on which the vineyards lie. This bright, crisp wine has both wonderful freshness as well as the balanced quality typical of the varietal.

James Suckling "Some bright and very crunchy, tangy tropical fruit and lemons here, making for an easygoing white."

Rompicollo 2017

Toscana IGT

This Tuscan "Super Value" is a blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and comes from a single-vineyard site in the Alta Maremma called Rompicollo. The vineyard benefits from southern exposure, ample sunlight, and a soil rich in tufo, a particular type of volcanic rock.

James Suckling "Fresh blueberries, violets and a touch of white chocolate, as well as brambles and herbs. Medium-bodied and quite edgy with intense acidity. Juicy and round on the finish, though."
